DEVELOPMENT OF KEY MANAGERIAL SKILLS
The Maxman Managerial Academy is a blended learning experience delivered in an effective format, with respect for participants’ time constraints.
Academy methodology
Interactive, experiential, and practical
Introductory video tutorial on how to learn and make the most of the MMA
Six online interactive workshops (held regularly once every two weeks). Short, 2.5-hour interactive sessions delivered at regular intervals have proven to be the most effective for development. Participants leave each workshop with specific techniques and tools to apply in practice.
Videos and development inspiration — alongside the workshops, participants receive recommendations for books, podcasts, and videos throughout the academy (between individual modules) that align with the topics covered.
Implementation between modules — the rapid application of knowledge and skills is key to effective transfer into practice. Therefore, we use the periods between modules for assignments that participants carry out directly in their day-to-day work.
Final afterparty — quizzes, competitions, reflection on key learnings from each of the six modules, evaluation, and feedback.
MODULES
Topics we will focus on in the academy:
Understanding your managerial / leadership strengths and the areas that hold us back.
Understanding the individual differences between individual team members.
We will focus on managerial work with goals and tasks.
Creating an open feedback culture in the company / team.
We will provide participants with tools that are immediately applicable to the development of people individually and in teams.
Facilitation skills and techniques are the basis for the manager in effective team management and by mastering these techniques, the manager can increase the productivity of meetings and interactions.
It is important to us that participants develop real practical skills; therefore, we maintain an 80/20 ratio between practical experimentation and theoretical input during the training.
The training content is well chosen. The guidelines on how to approach the tasks were very helpful when completing the assignments. Some of the most valuable aspects were the new information, theories, and techniques.
