Power Intelligence for Leaders (SK)
Intro
Learning through experience, reflection, and practice.
Did you know that when you are in a management position, your team members perceive everything you do or say much more strongly than if a colleague did the same? Power distorts the perception of those it affects, as well as the perception of the person who holds it. This training will help you see your own power realistically and use it consciously and effectively, even in difficult moments and under pressure.
Power intelligence requires deeper self-awareness, so the training also includes work with your natural talents through Gallup CliftonStrengths. We will look at when your talents help you and when using them in the wrong way becomes a barrier or a “power foul”. We recommend this training for managers who care about building a healthy company culture and high team engagement, and who therefore want to avoid power fouls.
Key topics
Completing the training will help participants:
understand how power works and how it influences people’s behaviour in a team
use power consciously and ethically in leadership and decision-making
recognise the distortions in perception that power brings
handle difficult situations and pressure without power fouls
deepen their self-awareness and understand when their talents can become a barrier in managing people
Training Methodology
Interactive, Experiential and Practical
- Short theoretical inputs
- Practising new techniques
- Simulations
- Facilitated discussions
- Role plays
It is important to us that participants develop real, practical skills. That is why we maintain an 80/20 balance between practical experimentation and theoretical input in our training sessions.
Participants have the opportunity to immediately practise and experience each technique explained and demonstrated by the trainer. With the help of targeted feedback, they can adjust their approach and gradually improve their performance.
